Why God acted the way He did?
Psalmist say: God is merciful and gracious.

4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
Best of time and worse of time
Perilous time will come for man shall be lover themselves:

2 Timothy 3:12-14
12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

Believer will suffer persecution, people will say nasty things about you. Sure.
The servant is not about the Lord. We need to allow. It’s a privilege persecution, stand tall, the Lord is with me.

I can toil the land, I can do a lot of work here but only God can send the rain. Rain in its right portion. I depend on God. My part is to cultivate land/soil
Rain out of due season will cause flood
When I look up, rain comes from heaven
