Jesus, You reign above every storm and every challenges
Philippians 2:10-11
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,
11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
He reigns above all
Praise the Lord, remember I am here to praise the Lord because for He is good, He is love, His loving kindness endures forever
Psalm 136:1
Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever.
even things are not good, I don't feel good, I can still give thanks to the Lord because He is good. Whatever that is not good, He can turn all around for my good because He=is love endures forever
My fear can't last forever, His love endures forever
I know and experienced His perfect love, perfect love cast out every fear in my heart. Fear not because He love me. His love will never fail, no greater expression of His love not he night that He died, He broke bread. When He was betrayed, He broke bread. He borne all my sickness, disease and carried every single pain, see every disease taken, no pain and no disease, it have no right over my body.
He is so good. Every good and perfect love is from Him

God's desire for me. Whatever situation I go through in my life, I need the peace
Philippians 4:6
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
Do not be anxious for anything, why? because anxious => Etymology in greek: torn apart, drawn in every direction, cut into pieces, through distraction
When anxious, I am torn apart, drawn in every direction
Distracted when boss is talking to me, spouse is talking to me, children are talking to me. Hearing but not filtering, don't understand
Start off with distraction before I know it in my mind in different direction, cut into pieces emotionally
God does not want me to be distracted, drawn into different direction
How not to be anxious? God have absolute power to drive away the fear and stress in my mind. man they have no power to drive away the fear and stress
When we pray, we give thanks before the manifestation.
Proverbs 12:25
Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression,
But a good word makes it glad.
Whatever reason for depression begin with anxiety, distraction, anxiety makes you depress
God wants me to look into one direction => turn my eyes into Jesus
Song: Turn your eyes upon Jesus, Look full in His wonderful face, And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, In the light of His glory and grace.
Look up and turn my eyes upon Jesus, look full and not sometime
Focus in His wonderful face, face shining brightly smiling at meHis eyes overflowing love and compassionate onto me, His light of glory face
Things on this earth will go away
A good word makes me glad, by the Spirit of Lord by power of Holy Spirit
Continually listen to good word, God's word, sermons
Why spend my time to tear people down?
Build them up, lifts them up, love them, not tear them down. Find ministry that lift me up

Solution for Philippians 4:6 => God provides for solution "in everything by prayer and supplication"
things causes us to be anxious, everything (not just big ticket items)
There's anxiety, let request be make known to God
Holy Communion => Eucharist (in greek); thanksgiving (thankful heart, thank the Lord)
Eu => Good
Christ => Grace
Give thanks to God => Good Grace
All the blessings He gave me even before I see the manifestation of blessings I give thanks
Ephesians 5, before full armour of God

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—
6 parts of the armour, 7 piece is prayer and supplication, complete full armour of God
Everyday I worship, pray and supplication
Present to God causes all anxiety flee from heart
Find prayer partners, pray together with me, stand in faith with me, spend tome praying

How to get out of the cycle of anxiety, depression?
we often pray and expect instant results but first effect and results presenting to the Lord
What is the greater blessings are, God wants me to receive
Philippians 4:7
and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
First result, primary before I see the manifestation
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Peace that He gives me, not the peace the world give, the world peace is not sustainable and it is limited
God's peace surpasses all understanding, cannot be fully understood. Situation and challenge is there but I have peace in my heart
Peace => Shalom (in greek);
Peace => Eirene (in New Testament) - peace, prosperity, rest, security, safety, tranquility, harmony, accord
peace between individuals as well
God wants me to experience His peace, first result have this peace to guard my heart and mind
Guard => phroureo - to guard, protect by a military guard, either to prevent hostile invasion, or to keep the inhabitants of a besieged city from flight
aggressive peace, strong and powerful peace
Matthew 10:16
“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.
dove => peace loving
Have the combination, don't be let roll around
be wise as serpents yet maintain peace
prevent hostile invasion, fiery arrows force from enemy
Heart and mind, does not leave, Holy Spirit dwells in me never leave, never forsake me

After death of Joshua, Book of Judges, many enemy oppress Israel, God appointed judges to deliver Israel, God ordained Gideon
Judges 6 => God appeared before Gideon, reincarnated of Jesus Christ, Gideon was trashing weed in winepress, we don't trash weed at winepress. Gideon was fearful and afraid of enemy, in order to hide the weed, he trash weed in winepress, quiet place, not prominet
Judges 6:11-12
11 Now the Angel of the Lord came and sat under the terebinth tree which was in Ophrah, which belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, while his son Gideon threshed wheat in the winepress, in order to hide it from the Midianites.
12 And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him, and said to him, “The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valor!”
God calling those things as though they are
mighty man of valor => mighty man of God
Proverbs 31:10
Who can find a virtuous wife?
For her worth is far above rubies.
Virtuous => a wife of strength and valor
When God declare this, Gideon was still fearful and afraid, he have doubt of God and himself
Judges 11:15
So he said to Him, “O my Lord, how can I save Israel? Indeed my clan isthe weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.”
Gideon was full of uncertainty. God is patience with him
God still trusted him in privilege of delivering Israel
Midianites => strife (main enemy)
Ephesians 6:12
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Why God hate? because He love people
Where there is pride, lies, evil, speak bitter, God hates because causes division, people are hurt. God wants united

When anxious, turn in different direction
When in peace, join, whole, united and to be one
God honors me among the brethen
Judges 6:22
Now Gideon perceived that He was the Angel of the Lord. So Gideon said, “Alas, O Lord God! For I have seen the Angel of the Lord face to face.”
How to overcome strife? When I have Jehovah Shalom in my life
See God face to face. Give him victory over Midianites
Lord assured him Judges 6:23
Then the Lord said to him, “Peace be with you; do not fear, you shall not die.”
Lord is peace => Yahweh Shalom
Gideon obeyed God, God give him the victory over Midianites
strife looks like:
Proverbs 25:24
It is better to dwell in a corner of a housetop,
Than in a house shared with a contentious woman.
Proverbs 27:15-16
15 A continual dripping on a very rainy day
And a contentious woman are alike;
16 Whoever restrains her restrains the wind,
And grasps oil with his right hand.
can't restrain wind, hard to restrain contentious woman
Proverbs 20:3
It is honorable for a man to stop striving,
Since any fool can start a quarrel.
insult someone without letting them felt insulted

20 Where there is no wood, the fire goes out;
And where there is no talebearer, strife ceases.
21 As charcoal is to burning coals, and wood to fire,
So is a contentious man to kindle strife.

enemy wants me to have strife because he hates me
Let me not fall for it
How to have life without strife?

15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

God spend a lot of time building Eve, building a building when Adam is asleep
Wife is comparable with husband
Love wife into submission, hold her

Children's status, wisdom, favour in God and men
Don't provoke children lest they become discourage

Do heartedly to the Lord
Daily living, do it as unto the Lord
Submit to husband for the Lord's sake
Do it as unto the Lord and for Lord
God will honour me, exalt me and promote me

Answer softly rather than harshly

Philippians 4:8 How I receive good news? if not put them aside because the rest will create strife in my heart

The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
The God of peace is with me
Isaiah 26:3-4
3 You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.
4 Trust in the Lord forever,
For in Yah, the Lord, is everlasting strength.
God of perfect (shalom) peace (shalom) is with me
Double shalom (emphasis)
Stay on Him, trust Him forever, I experience perfect peace in my heart, my mind and my life, strife will be driven out from my life forever
Peace of God is person of Jesus Christ, not a state of condition in my mind
God of peace Jehovah Shalom, experience Him the person of peace
Perfect peace can't be found in the world/ activity
Perfect peace can only be found from Him, who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Psalm 91
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”
3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

And ten thousand at your right hand;

True safety and peace is found under the shadow of His wings
