Prayers are weapon

God wants to fight my battle for me

Prayer is my weapon 

There are mighty in God to the pulling down on any strongholds in my life.

 

Lekham (Heb) is bread (Jesus) and root word for lekham is lekam:to fight. To feed. Everytime I feed God comes to my arena to fight for me. When god step in for me, who is bigger than God

God is with me.

Go to God in faith. I’m not alone, God is with me. I shall not be in disappointment. I shall not be put on shame. Because I have Jesus

 

Jesus says: I will fight for you, this battle is not yours, the battle is the Lord’s.

how to define god?

God is love. How do I define love? Love is God. God himself is love

He is defined by love. His love for me is unfailing and unchanging love. This love that cast out every fear of my life. 

Sometimes things don look good, valley Low, God loves me

Psalm 23:4

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."

Lift up my heads my redemption draw near

He have sworn that He will never leave me nor forsake me. Have hope in my heart.

3 John 1:2

" Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."

Absolute will of god and god will bless me and prosper me in all things.

A specific prayers 

That god will prosper me in all things and in define health even soul prosper

God heart is to give all his children

 

Do not fear little flock

God wants me to ask from him so that I can receive from him. He wants me to prosper in all things

 

Tender mercy of God. Gentleness of Lord.

Heart is filled me kindness and love me in a way gentle yet strong.

 

Luke 1:13-14

13 But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. 

14 And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth.

 

Begin with a priest- Zacharias (God remembers)and Elizabeth (oath of God).(barren and unfruitful)

When Zac offer incense to God, Angel prophesied to them they have a child. And said God have heard your prayers. God listened to all my prayers. He heard me. John - ‘yohannan’ meant Yahweh is gracious) Lord is Gracious

John is result of grace.

 

Don’t mean I don see my prayers answer means God is not working. God is always with me.

 

God remembers (Zac) his oath (Elizabeth )and brought grace (John) to men

 

Grace is the very person of Lord Jesus Christ. Grace is given by the Lord to save us

 

Matthew 13:9 

"He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”

 

Grace=> charis 

Joy => chara 

Heart wll feel with thanksgiving (ukaris)

When I have grace of God, I will have Joy, if I want to have attitude of gratitude. Thanksgiving is birth from charis

 So joy and thanksgiving comes from me under grace I don force to be joyful. It’s imperative in testament

 

1 Thessalonians 5:18

"in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."

Grace and joy will come when there’s thanks giving 

When I receive grace, God will bring fruitfulness to my life

 

A joyfulheard comes when I believe the grace of God

When. I receive grace, God will bring fruitfulness to me, my youth will be renew like e eagle.

 

Luke 1:18-20

18 And Zacharias said to the angel, “How shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is well advanced in years.”

Grace is not a doctrine or subject. Grace is a very person Jesus Christ

The glory of the Father full of grace and truth

When I believe in Him my heart be fill with thanks giving.

When I believe in Him, I will be fruitful 

When I believe in Him, joy will over flow in my life 

Not what I can do is What He do and what he had done in my life

 

Luke 1:57-64

57 Now Elizabeth’s full time came for her to be delivered, and she brought forth a son. 

58 When her neighbors and relatives heard how the Lord had shown great mercy to her, they rejoiced with her

59 So it was, on the eighth day, that they came to circumcise the child; and they would have called him by the name of his father, Zacharias.

When I declare God is gracious, my voice will be heard and my mouth will be lead to praise.

Luke 1:72-73

God remembers his holy covenant. I’m blessed with every spiritual blessings in Christ

Salvation: me knowing that all my sins are forgiven.how? through the tender mercy of our God greatest blessings. Greatest blessings is the forgiveness of all my sins. Blessings of blessings

 

Mercy is music to e sinner

Tender mercy most exquisite sound that Human heard beautiful word that human heart can ever receive. 

His heart is tender towards me mercy tender most kind most loving , most gentle, this is my God

 

Tender: splanchnon(Greek): bowels, intestines ( the heart, lung, liver and etc)

The bowels were regarded as the seat of the more violent passions such as anger and love but by the Hebrews as the seat of tenderer affections esp kindness, benovolence, compassion hence our heart (tender mercies, affections and etc). A heart in which mercy resides. Bowel mercy (Heb idiom)

Intestine- seed

Heb- speaks of seed of tenderer expressions. 

God’s heart is filled with tender love for me n that’s why my sims are forgiven 

 

1. Day spring : sunrise (ESV)

Jesus came to visit me. touch me heal me and save me. Not man came and visit him. King of kings lord of lord coming to visit me. His visit is liken sun rise. The rising of sun will varnish all darkness in my life.

Prayers of Jabez 1 chronicle 4:9-10

9 Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother called his name [a]Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.” 

10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested.

Jabez believed in a God who is a good God, a god who have a heart to bless and to provide. 

God wants me to call upon him coz He wants to bless me

 

This prayers have been recorded in Old Testament so that I know when I pray ask god to bless me indeed, I’m praying in the promise  and God will definitely honor the prayers

Matthew 7:7-11 AMPC

7 Keep on asking and it will be given you; keep on seeking and you will find; keep on knocking [reverently] and [the door] will be opened to you.

8 For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, [the door] will be opened.

9 Or what man is there of you, if his son asks him for a loaf of bread, will hand him a stone?

10 Or if he asks for a fish, will hand him a serpent?

11 If you then, evil as you are, know how to give good and [d]advantageous gifts to your children, how much more will your Father Who is in heaven [perfect as He is] give good and advantageous things to those who keep on asking Him!

 

Am I asking? 

Keep on asking coz God’s heart is to bless me.

God is a God who delights in man,he finds great grace and joy in revealing his love for me.compassion on me, he will subdue it for me.

He delights in giving mercy to sinners

The very heart of my God is mercy.

Psalm 145:9

"The LORD is good to all, And His tender mercies are over all His works."

God tender mercy is on all his work. 

 

2 Corinthians 5:19

"that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation."

God is not counting The world sims against them. Our God is a good god. God of mercy

God mercy is God forgiving man

 

Sacrifice- man atoning something /doing something for God for their sin

Mercy is God doing something for man (forgiving man of their sins)

God don’t want me to atone for him. He wants to become the atonement for my sin 

Jesus is the proposiation of my sin.

He want me to be aware that He have done something for me

God don wan me to do something from him. 

1 John 2:1-2

1 My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 

2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.

 

When I understand he loves me

Tied up to his tender mercy towards me. The heart of god towards me is mercy.

Beautiful cycle of Grace

I freely received I freely give 

 

God delights in mercy. Desire mercy and not sacrifice. Don’t try to win his favor.

I’m already favor, He already loves me. Come to Him and receive from him

 

Matthew 11:28-30

28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 

29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 

30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Something to learn from e Lord.

Rest- He promised he will give me rest. He will rest me

 

Another rest I can find:

Take my York open me and learn from me- he is meek and humble, creator of universe yet born with lowly in heart, and became servant 

Learn that he is gentle and lowly in heart, find rest on my soul

 

Don live with the sense of the entitlement, i don have to fight every battle , some war are not worth fighting. God will blessed me. I will have peace. Whatever I don have, ask and I shall receive. I will find rest in my rest

Ask don fight. 

Be gentle and lowly in heart.

 

When he is strong, he is not 

Lord is gentle. He is man. Manlyness- he over then the tables of money chargers

Truth = victory

Present day truth=gospel of grace

When I believe in present days truth=victory

Jesus is e servant we will not break 

 

Behold (when I see behold in Bible, listen up and pay attention) my servant. God called Jesus servant. Our servant king he serves me. To all glory and honour to my lord. He laid aside his majestic to serve me.

He is here to serve me with love and care in his heart. He is tender towards me. He lay aside his majesty and serve me

 

Psalm 18:34-35

34 He teaches my hands to make war,
So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.

35 You have also given me the shield of Your salvation;
Your right hand has held me up,
Your gentleness has made me great.

Psalm 18:35- your gentleness has made me great. 

 

What made David great is he knew the gentleness of Our God

Gentle to those who have sins, who made mistakes who have fallen. He is my tender loving saviour 

God gave him skills and strength to fight the war. 

His gentleness that will make me great

A reed lalang grass. Young children take lalang grass, use as flute and make sounds. 

Reed is bruise - no music. 

 

He will lovingly loving me so that I will shine in His glory again

This lamb that will destroy the beast

David knew our God is a god of tender mercy. His heart is tender and kind to me and with everlasting love

 

Hosea 11:3-4 (beautiful scriptures)

With bands of love,
And I was to them as those who take the yoke from their neck.

He draws me to gentle courts of love

He have draw me to himself

Truth=victory

Gospel of grace = victory

Isaiah 66:13 NIV

As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.”

God created male and female. God have maternal love as well. God have paternal and maternal side and comfort me like a mother would. Tender mercy from a mother 

 

Zephaniah 3:16-17

16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem:
“Do not fear;
Zion, let not your hands be weak.
17 The Lord your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.”

Parents carrying new born child. Such a joy.
